South Pacific wedding packages are available through almost all resorts, large and small, with ceremonies usually taking place under an alter of flowers on the beach front. Marriage licenses for most South Pacific Islands must be obtained in the country on arrival and identity papers for both parties brought. This is generally a simple process. However, for those wishing to be married under the Catholic Church, it is recommended to liaise with both your local parish priest and the priest you wish to conduct your marriage at least a few months before the intended wedding date for necessary marriage guidance counselling.
