Game fishing in all the South pacific islands is excellent with an abundance of large game such as Marlin and Tuna and little seasonal variance. Probably one of the most significant areas for serious game fishing enthusiasts is the extensive deep sea fishing off Christmas Island in the Kiribati just north of the equator. Here you'll find several highly sophisticated charter boats along with some of the most competitive Bonefish Tournaments in the world.

Hawaii has extensive deep sea fishing, charter boats and tournaments, notably off the west coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.
