There are several areas to cruise in the Fiji Islands. The most popular destination is the Mamanuca Group, a short distance offshore from Nadi Airport on western Viti Levu. There are a number of day excursions throughout the Mamanuca islands aboard modern catamarans and old schooners hopping from island to island. Luxury overnight and week-long cruise companies go beyond the Mamanuca Group to the remote and traditional islands of the Yasawa Group. There are five fully serviced marinas in Fiji and several sailing companies offer bareback sailing vacations. There are also a handful of yacht charters for that all inclusive sailing vacation.
